EVANA AG is taking the next steps in the transformation of the PropTech into a product-driven technology company. To this end, the EVANA360 platform and EVANA’s artificial intelligence will be consistently developed into SaaS solutions. In addition, the company announces a comprehensive restructuring of the company including cost reductions. The restructuring has become necessary due to the pandemic-related and economic impairments in the entire PropTech sector.

In order to carry out the extensive restructuring, the management team will also be reshuffled. Süleyman Acar will become CEO and sole chairman of EVANA AG. This was decided at the Annual General Meeting yesterday. Sascha Donner will remain with the company as a member of the Advisory Board. Johannis Hatt will support the Management Board as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Süleyman Acar brings many years of experience in scaling and restructuring technology start-ups. Acar founded faceadnet GmbH in 2014, which he built into one of the leading software-based online social publishers in Germany and successfully sold to Ströer. Today, the company operates as Ströer Social Publishing GmbH. For several years, Acar has also been actively investing in technology companies and accompanying them as a business angel during the seed and scaling phases on the market.

“In recent years, EVANA has developed a unique and marketable product that is already being used by well-known companies in asset management. This makes EVANA a pioneer in the European PropTech scene. We now want to offer the AI technology to a wider market. Negotiations are currently underway with our investors and customers to obtain the necessary support for the next development step,” explains Süleyman Acar, CEO of EVANA.

Johannis Hatt will assume the position of chairman of the supervisory board. Hatt is the founder of Productsup and was brought in because of his extensive startup and SaaS experience. The Berlin-based SaaS company offers a cloud platform that enables complex data feeds to be quickly and easily structured, analysed and optimised according to the requirements of a wide range of shopping and marketing channels.

Another new member of the supervisory board is Adrian Fopp, who, as Head of Technology Portfolio at Patrizia SE, has accompanied EVANA for many years both as a customer and investor.
